Oriocenter opens additional sales space
Oriocenter in Bergamo has expanded its sales space by an additional 35,000 square meters! The shopping center will be entirely refurbished until next year. Schwitzke has developed a design concept that showcases references to the region as well as a multifaceted “Italy” theme. After the expansion, Oriocenter now boasts a total of 105,000 square meters with roughly 280 shops and is counted among the best-known malls in Italy. The design idea is based on the five cities of Torino, Milan, Bergamo, Verona and Venice, which are strung together like pearls on a necklace along the Autostrada A4. We created an individual atmospheric design language for each city and then allocated them thematically to the mall’s five building complexes.
