Expansion of Tommy Hilfiger Düsseldorf

High class restructuring

American way of life on the Rhine: After only few weeks of closing time, the lifestyle label Tommy Hilfiger reopened its seventh global flagship store – now in twice its original size. We united the sales floors of two previously separately used buildings by means of statically highly complex load redistribution as well as extensive demolition and reconstruction works. We were able to support our client with feasibility studies already during the project development and the continuous coordination between tenant and landlord. Extensive demolition works, structural steel works, ferroconcrete and masonry works, dry construction and painting works, elaborate flooring, removal and new installation of the entire HVAC and data systems, new installation of elevators, a new natural stone façade with shop windows and entrance doors with an antique brass look – the list of implemented works is long. In total, the renovation took just under three months.
