"awsum" opens as the first Schwitzke Concept Store

Since now almost 30 years, our founders Karl and Klaus Schwitzke have been successful in Retail Business – consulting, planning and constructing. Now the brothers open their first own Concept Store awsum around the theme of “Urban Life“. What onomatopoetically sounds as ‘awesome’ presents itself just like this: On fine 75 square meters, the entrepreneurs and their team offer handpicked products with a sustainable approach to quality and design. The actual core assortment is based on bicycles, e-bikes and accessories regarding urban mobility. The future product palette is supposed to embrace goods e.g. from segments like lifestyle, beauty or food. Regarding the selection, the team attaches big value to have an own relation to the products. They only sell goods they really like. Simply “things we love”.

“For us, awsum is a real favorite place for lovers of good design, sustainable craftwork and personal encounters,” Karl and Klaus Schwitzke say about their first attempt to walk as retailers. Furthermore, all products are also available at the likely web shop.

The awsum team is also present at this year’s Cycling World from 7 to 8 April at Areal Böhler. Starting at 9 April, awsum also shows a pop-up area at the Breuninger Department Store at Düsseldorf-located Kö-Bögen.
