Hackett London Opens Store on Düsseldorf’s “Kö”
General Contractor Schwitzke Project Supports its Client’s Expansion: The British men’s fashion label Hackett London opened a new store in Kö-Galerie on Düsseldorf’s luxury shopping street Königsallee, known as “Kö”. The Brit-style chain’s entire collection is presented in a tasteful and dignified ambiance in the sales area of 190 square meters over two levels. Schwitzke Project refurbished the entire sales space within a construction period of seven weeks and had previously acted as a local architect for the implementation of the given design concept. Many elements in the store convey a gentlemanly attitude: flooring made of natural wood, noble shades or green, elegant white furniture, as well as cassette elements in the shop’s interior and on the façade. Special challenges during the construction and fit-out phase included the combination of two previously separate neighboring sales spaces and the refurbishment of the existing staircase. Simultaneously to the store in Düsseldorf, Schwitzke Project also acted as general contractor for the fit-out of Hackett London’s new sales outlet in Vienna.
