Montblanc Opens Store in Antwerp
The international luxury brand Montblanc continues its expansion in Europe by opening its own sales outlets. In this context, the brand has opened a small and unusual store with a total of 75 square meters in a landmarked building in Antwerp. The specialist for writing utensils and accessories is renowned for its calm, noble design; this characteristic was perfectly implemented in the new store. Schwitzke Project performed extensive structural measures for the client Montblanc in this project, primarily the gutting and refurbishment of the historic building. The subsequent interior fit-out required much precision craftsmanship due to the high complexity of construction works in the narrow, three-storey building. The elaborate surfaces and details in the finished store convey a sense of noble understatement as befits the brand.
