Healthy Convenience at the first Natsu Foods Store
Healthy Fast Food meets top downtown location: As Europe’s largest provider of convenient food for grocery stores, the company Natsu Foods opened up it’s first own store at the end of March. Located in the new EDEKA Zurheide at Berliner Allee, Düsseldorf, the 100 square meter space now offers both products to eat in or to take away: from sushi, wraps and sandwiches up to soups and lunch pots. The Düsseldorf-based Schwitzke Group took over the design concept as well as the entire implementation of the culinary one stop shop.
In order to strengthen the brand’s image and positioning with the new Shop-in-Shop-Concept, the first task was to adapt the brand identity to the retail space. Therefore, Schwitzke & Partner translated the naturally playful and inviting design style as well as the brand’s core values, such as freshness, sustainability and naturalness, to furnishings, materials and the on-site experience. In order to define the Customer Journey, the architects chose the overall aspect “Convenience” as the main topic. The customer is supposed to find everything he needs quickly and intuitively: from the right product to the cash desk up to the seating area. Furthermore, each seat provides an integrated charging station, so guests can easily recharge their devices while spending time at the location. As General Contractor, Schwitzke Project was responsible for both the high-quality and technology-rich facilities as well as the entire construction of the store area.
