With the pilot stores, the multi-channel retailer is taking the next step towards a holistic brand experience: The new retail design was to transfer the recently revamped brand identity to the sales floors and retail space and present POLO as a strong brand and as a personal consultant with high professional expertise and proximity to visitors. The design is based on two core elements of the biker scene: experiences that unite the community and shared meeting places. The central element for this is the fan area. Here, bikers can come together during the visit, share with each other and with POLO consultants or attend events around the brand and the motorcycle lifestyle. The store is intended to become a hangout for like-minded people, where they can exchange ideas and pursue their common passion. The layout of the pilot stores is based on a tour or racetrack with the individual departments – Touring, Racing, Technology, Ladies and Lifestyle – branching off from it.
