Beirut Blues

Private Residence, Lebanon

Was Beirut once called the Paris of Lebanon, today the pulsating capital stands on its own and is focused by the international architectural scene. In downton Beirut, where contemporary architecture meets progressive gastronomy and retail concepts, you find the private residence of a Lebanese fashion entrepreneur and therefore our latest residential project.

The architectural task was to align the 150 square meters of the already constructed, fragmented apartement with the open-minded, cosmopolitan lifestyle of the owner. After several walls had been removed, now the areas for cooking, eating and living are united in one generous room. A separate bedroom with a master bathroom in the rear part of the apartment provides the needed privacy. The color palette combines different shades of blue with cognac- and bronze-colored accents as well as an extensive terrazzo flooring. The interior brings together timeless classics and exclusively selected modern pieces.
